How To Use

*Device model and complimentary items shown are for illustration purposes only and are subject to availability.

1.    Fair Usage Policy (FUP): Fair Usage Policy is a set of guidelines imposed by the country's local internet service provider to manage inappropriate data use and to prevent user from abusing the data usage. This policy makes sure that the service can be used fairly by everyone in the particular country. The user may experience slow data speeds if the data usage exceeds the assigned limit but will never be cut off from the internet. There will be no extra charges incurred on the rental rates.

 

CANCELLATION & MODIFICATIONS

If you wish to cancel the booking you will be charged as below:

 

NOTIFICATION IN MORE THAN 5 WORKING DAYS

There is 10% handling fee if the cancellation is notified to us more than five (5) working days before the indicated departure date. The amount will be refunded to you within seven (7) to fourteen (14) working days.

 

NOTIFICATION IN LESS THAN 5 WORKING DAYS
You will be penalised PHP 700 (or USD 15) if the cancellation is done within or less than five (5) working days before the indicated departure date. The remaining amount will be refunded to you within seven (7) to fourteen (14) working days.

 

NOTIFICATION ON/ AFTER INDICATED DEPARTURE DATE

You will be penalised PHP 1,000 (or USD 20) if the cancellation is done on/ after the indicated departure date. For customer who selected self-collection method, failure to self-collect router set on the indicated departure date will also be treated similarly. The remaining amount will be refunded to you within seven (7) to fourteen (14) working days.

COLLECTION & RETURN

1.    Courier Delivery Method: We practise two (2) best-attempt policy, and will impose a single-way delivery charge for every subsequent return delivery attempt thereafter.

 

2.    Self-Collection Method: You will be penalised PHP 1,000 (or USD 20) if you failed to self-collect the router set latest on the departure date. The remaining amount will be refunded to you within ten (10) working days.

 

3.    Late Return Fee: We reserve the right to charge a late return fee of PHP 50 per day for every additional day incurred after two (2) working days of your indicated return date. Kindly notify us before the end of this return period if you have difficulty to return the device kit within the period for case-by-case consideration.

 

DAMAGE OR ACCIDENTAL LOSS

Please report to the police in the country where you lose it and send us the report filed (as a proof of loss) when you are back in the Philippines.

*Must be accompanied with police report as proof of loss. If you do lose the Travel Pocket Wi-Fi, please make a police report in the country where you lost it and present the report to us as proof of loss when you are back in Japan.

*If you have purchased the insurance for TravelWiFi kit, you need not pay the penalty charge of cancellations, loss or damages to accessories and *TravelWifi device.

 

 

HANDLING FEES TO CANCEL OTHER PRODUCTS

a) 20% handling fee for sim card booking

b) 10% handling fee for Japan Rail Pass booking, applicable to unredeemed exchange order (EO) only

c) Strictly no cancellation for Attraction booking

 

*Request for cancellation of above other products is subject to Travel Recommends's approval.

*Hereby, approval process may take up to a maximum of three (3) months due to verification and confirmation process.  

 

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES

1.    TravelWiFi Coverage: Please be informed that the TravelWiFi might not be able to connect to the internet at locations with poor reception such as mountainous areas, underground, coastal areas, rural places and old buildings, etc.

 

2.    Incorrect Bank Account Information: We reserve the right to forfeit deposit and/or any additional refundable amount after unsuccessful refund attempts, with two (2) forfeiture notice sent via email. Forfeiture is enforceable after one hundred and twenty (120) days, calculate from the date of the end of rental period.

 

3.    Troubleshoot for TravelWiFi: Try to restart the travel pocket WiFi by turning it off and on again, or reset it by pressing the “reset” button at the right corner of the travel pocket WiFi. If the problem persists, please take a photo of the screen of the router and email to hello@flytpack.com to inform us the issue.
